An outstanding area and ornithological reserve overlooking the blue sea tinted with emerald green, you will never be able to forget the beauty of Cap Fréhel.

Cap Fréhel is an outstanding area of natural beauty. With cliffs towering 70 metres over the sea, Cap Fréhel is one of the most breathtaking areas in Brittany. The path round the cap makes for a magnificent walk. To the right of the cap stands the illustrious silhouette of Fort Latte.
Cap Fréhel along with numerous small islands and rocks make up over 6km of precipitous coastal terrain where hundreds of nesting birds live. A colony of birds inhabits two islands. Birds that can be seen there include guillemots and penguins, oystercatchers, magpies, great crested cormorants, tridactyl seagulls, black backed gulls and brown backed gulls.

Latte fort has retained its feudal appearance and is situated in a spectacular spot. From the walkway round the fort there is an amazing view across the emerald coast: anse des Sévignés, Cap Fréhel, baie de la Frênaye, pointe de St-Cast, île Ebihens, St-Briac and St-Lunaire, pointe du Décollé, St-Malo, Paramé and Rothéneuf, île de Cézembre and pointe du Meinga.
